The goal of this school project is to highlight tender moments from the lives of young Parisians. What places capture their attention? What did they experience there? Memories that are both fleeting and enduring: a painting in motion. After interviewing a few Parisians, I will visit the places they mentioned and film the surroundings. Next, drawing inspiration from the work of RuffMercy, I will paint over the raw video footage, highlighting the beauty and the dreamlike quality hidden within these stories. From all of this will emerge one, two, or several pieces lasting about 1 minute, at 7 frames per second, sharing their stories.

Fluid Jam is rooted in a phrase by Philip K. Dick, and questions the notion of choice and the multiplicity of realities. By exploring these themes, we have designed an immersive experience in which spectators are led to believe that they are shaping their own path, when in reality everything is predefined. Are we really masters of our own decisions, or do we follow a path that's already mapped out ?
