Info
This creative project draws inspiration from the 1960s Beatnik lifestyle to engage today’s misanthropes in social activism. The insider’s guide features a textured paper wrap and a typewritten “Modern Beatnik Manifesto”, introducing a handcrafted, linocut-titled book that blends raw punk energy with precise cartography. Inside, each page explores key social themes (such as ecology, feminism, and urban culture) connected to historic Beatnik hotspots in 1960s Paris. Unfoldable neighborhood maps detail walking routes through iconic locations, merging authentic vintage aesthetics with modern design and storytelling. All texts and illustrations are meticulously researched from archival sources, offering innovative solutions inspired by past countercultural movements.
